A man attacked a woman polling official at the Kanjikuzhy S.L. Puram booth on Monday for not allowing him to vote without documents. The police said Sunil Kumar tried to snatch a ballot paper from T. Usha, presiding officer, and kicked her when she fell on the ground after he slapped her. He and two polling agents who supported him fled the scene. Ms. Usha lodged a complaint with District Collector P. Venugopal. Superintendent of Police A.
